Mother

I want to learn how she loves,
Every time I call her, I can hear her smiles,
But I know the facade concealing meanly the tears behind.
As she talks, I can feel the goodness of God and sweetness,
Like I don't belong where I am.

It grows as she goes on and I can never get enough.
Every word she speaks is only more refreshing - her beautiful, innocent love.
Never will I know how she emanates such unadultrated love,
When all I do is hate the world more everyday.

PS: This poetry is written by my friend Rimi who dedicates it to her mother.
